La reserva también alberga numerosas especies de anfibios que se ven con frecuencia pero que normalmente se alejan rápidamente. Muchas de estas especies son raras y están en peligro de extinción. Por ejemplo, la reserva tiene una rana de lluvia que solo se conoce de Los Cedros, Pristimantis cedros y otra que solo se conoce de Los Cedros y otra localidad, Pristimantis mutabilis. Pristimantis cedros and another that is only known from Los Cedros and one other locality, Pristimantis mutabilis.
