On International Children’s Day, the Scientific Station visited some single-teacher schools in the Los Manduriacos Valley to deliver teaching materials, as an educational contribution to the area. En el marco del curso de formación de guardabosques organizado por la Estación Científica Los Cedros, dirigido a comuneros y comuneras del Valle de Los Manduriacos. Se desarrolló un taller certificado de rescate y primeros auxilios agrestes a cargo de la Junta Provincial de Cruz Roja Imbabura, del 22 al 25 de febrero.
Durante los meses de septiembre y enero del 2024 un grupo de alrededor de 15 comuneros y comuneras del Valle de Los Manduriacos fueron capacitados en la evaluación de la calidad ecológica de los ríos, como parte de las temáticas abordadas en el curso de formación de guardabosques.
