En el mes de diciembre del 2024 organizamos una visita hacia la Reserva Ecológica Santa Lucía ubicada en la parroquia Nanegal, al noroccidente de Pichincha. In September, the Los Cedros Scientific Station was the epicenter of a training course for “Honorific Inspectors,” run by the Ministry of the Environment, Water, and Ecological Transition (MAATE, initials in Spanish) and promoted by the Technical Secretary and Basins Council of the Intag-Toisán Conservation and Sustainable Use Area (ACUS-MIT, initials in Spanish), Toisán Corporation

En la comunidad Magdalena Alto, ubicada en el área circundante al Bosque Protector Los Cedros, se desarrolló un ciclo de talleres entre los meses de julio y agosto, basado en la promoción de los Derechos Humanos y los Derechos de la Naturaleza. El curso contó con una importante participación de niñas, niños, adolescentes, jóvenes, adultos y adultos mayores, de la comunidad.

En este mes de agosto tuvimos una importante y divertida visita de un curso de la Unidad Educativa Isla Santa Isabel ubicada en la comunidad (local) San Miguel de Chontal, quienes planificaron una gira de excursión hacia el Bosque Protector Los Cedros.
